In particular, he uses glass to split his motifs. His work focuses on the representation of real and fictional space. Bernard Moninot plays with reflections and shadows. In the 1970s, he exhibited at the Paris Biennale. Now a professor at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris, he has had several exhibitions in France (Galerie Baudoin Lebon, etc.) and abroad (Galerie Andata in Switzerland, National Gallery of Modern Art in Bombay, etc.).
