Anna MARK (b. 1928) Untitled, 1987 Print numbered 8/13, signed and dated lower right Height 8.5 cm; Width: 11.6 cm After studying painting at the Budapest School of Fine Arts, Anna Mark began her career as a stage designer. In 1956, she moved to Paris and devoted herself to her vocation: painting. She created abstract works, marked by geometric elements and architectural construction. She was also interested in other techniques: engraving, pen-and-ink drawing, marble powder relief, pastel and gouache. Anna Mark has published numerous theoretical works. Her work has been the subject of several solo exhibitions (Galerie La Forest Divonne in 2023, Maison Saint-Yves in 2024...).
