Important bronze sculpture from the 19th century. Height: 110 cm (Height: 133 cm with wooden base). Crack in right arm and small hole under right arm The Blessed One is depicted in motion, walking with his left hand raised in abayamudra, the gesture of fearlessness. What's more, this large bronze Buddha offers a characteristic example - very rare in the West for a work of this size - of the most innovative and original iconography in Thai art of this period, in a way that is rather unusual in Buddhist art.
