Lot of 24 jewelry drawings on tracing paper (one mounted on cardboard) in pencil heightened with polychrome gouache, including numerous drawings of rings with rope decorations typical of the 1955/60 period, two plates of modernist rings, a drawing of a cocktail ring with multicolored tassels bearing the Sterlé dry stamp, and a drawing of a cocktail ring adorned with a blue stone cabochon on a twirling skirt base with the Sterlé dry stamp. Paul TOUZET, a designer and jeweler active from the 1940s to the 1970s, worked, according to family tradition, for VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, BOUCHERON and STERLE. He is also said to have worked with Georges BRAQUE and Jean COCTEAU on their jewelry. His creations are typical of French and Parisian jewelry production during the Trente Glorieuses.
