THOMAS LISTER, LUDDENDEN. A MID 18TH CENTURY EIGHT-DAY BRASS DIAL MOON ROLLER LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" brass arched dial with silvered chapter ring and engraved centre, having a date ring and seconds dial below a rolling moon. Fronting a finely made arched movement with knopped pillars, repeat mechanism and anchor escapement, striking the hours on a bell. The later carved Oak case with caddy top and panelled base. (228cm high) The case is in good condition but not original to the movement, the movement is very good quality and complete. Ticking and striking, calendar work and moon work are present. The dial is clean and the silvering is in good condition, with slight losses to the silver on the calendar dial. The moon phase dial has possibly been replanted. comes with weights and pendulum.
