Foot officer's service sword, attributed to the Garde royale, model 1816
Imitation filigree molded spike, pomegranate pommel, single-branch guard, brass keyboard with the great arms of France. Blade with median edge (pitted) engraved "Garde municipale de Paris 29 juillet 1830". Black leather scabbard, two brass fittings (repairs to clevis). Manceaux-stamped cap.
