Sword for light horses of the King's Household.
Entirely silver filigree. Chased and gilded brass mount. Pommel with profile of Henri IV and fleur-de-lys, hilt with one branch and two straight quillons, body knot with the creation date of the body "1593". Chased keyboard with the great arms of France on a bundle of flags. Triangular blade engraved, gilded and blued in thirds, signed "ICB" on the heel. Varnished leather scabbard (broken) with brass trim (remains of gilding). Missing boulle sting.
