Light cavalry officer's saber.
Leather-covered handle (watermark missing). Brass mounting. Guard with one columnar branch and two shuttle-shaped pommels. Curved blade with flat back, hollow sides and gutters, engraved, gilded and one-third blued. Brown leather scabbard with three brass fittings and two rings (significant traces of wear and repairs to studs). Asymmetrical iron sting.
