Light cavalry officer's saber.
Leather-covered handle with silver filigree. Brass mounting. Pommel with empanelled helmet, single-branch hilt with column, half-groove hilt. Damascus-style curved blade with flat back and hollow sides.
Brass scabbard with two bracelets and two rings. Iron sting.
Composite. Partly late 18th century.
