Choléra. With a frontispiece after a portrait by Robert Delaunay. Paris, Editions aux Sagittaire 1923. 229 p., 3 vols. Softcover. (somewhat browned and stained).
First edition. - Dedication of the author to J.E. Charles on the flyleaf. Joseph Delteil (1894-1978) was a French poet. His first novel Sur le fleuve Amour brought him to the attention of Louis Aragon and André Breton, giving him access to the Surrealists. Beautiful bibliophile print, only a few spots inside.
Surrealism. - First Edition. - With a frontispiece after a portrait by Robert Delaunay. Orig. wrappers (only slightly browned and stained). - Endpaper with dedication of the author to J.E. Charles. Joseph Delteil (1894-1978) was a French poet. His first novel Sur le fleuve Amour brought him the attention of Louis Aragon and André Breton and thus found access to the surrealists. Beautiful bibliophile print, only some single stains inside.
