Turkey Berggren, Sébah & Joaillier et al, Guillaume Collection of 13 predominantly large-format OPhotographs with views and ethnographic images from Constantinople and other Vintages. Albumen prints. Around 1870-1890. Sizes from approx. 10.2 x 13.5 to 21 x 26.7 cm. Each mounted on card. Pehr Vilhelm Berggren, known as Guillaume Berggren (1835-1920), ran a photo studio in Constantinople from 1866 under the name "Lilla Sverige" (Little Sweden). - The photographs, some of which are signed (Berggren, Sébah & Joaillier), numbered, dated and inscribed, show, among other things: Hagia Sophia, New Mosque with Fishing Boats (Place de Yeni-Djami), Turkish Café and Cemetery (Caffée Turque / Cémetières à Topcapoue), Porters (Hamal), Emir Sultan (Bursa), Pergamon (Pergame), Ephesus (Ephèse), Smyrna (Smyrne), View from Rumeli Hisari (Vue du Roumelie Hissar). - Mostly somewhat foxed, otherwise generally in good condition.
