World War 2 Collection of 98 press photographs from the Second World War. 1940s. Each approx. 13 x 18 cm. Each silver gelatin and silver bromide gelatin on photographic paper (Agfa Brovira, Ortho-Brom, etc.). Verso mostly with mount. Label (each inscribed in German, mostly localized and dated), mostly stamped (some several times) (Presse-Bild-Zentrale Braemer u. Güll, Atlantic Pressedienst, a.o.), some with additional annotations. Shown are: Aircraft and war vehicles (Italian bomber over Malta, torpedo drop of a Heinkel He 115, armored vehicles in an open field, etc.). - Military operations mainly in French areas (Nice, Normandy, Monte Carlo, etc.): General Field Marshal Rommel during inspections, soldiers practicing leisure activities as well as training at the grenade launcher, etc., visit of the Italian army on the French Mediterranean coast, etc. - somewhat bent due to storage, partly with small marginal tears.
