75th R.D. as a training division near Rohatyn in Galicia. April / May 1917 (signed title). Collection of 107 OPhotographs of the 75th Reserve Division (Infantry Regiment 251). Vintages. Mostly silver gelatin mounts. Various. Sizes from approx. 6 x 6 to 12 x 16 cm. Mounted in album d. Zt. landscape-Gr.-8°. HLdr. with cord binding (somewhat stained and rubbed).
The photographs inscribed below show, among others: Artillery fire on Lindner-Höhe, attack, Feldherrn-Hügel, flamethrower, Kaiser Wilhelm with Generals von Eichhorn and von Carlowitz, Kaiser-Parade near Smorgon, refugees on the Riga-Petersburg road, Riga-Wenden road near Birsnek, near Kussau, Aa-Brücke near Bloom u. Hinzenberg, Lemburg Castle, Allasch Manor, Düna bridges near Riga blown up by the Russians, Hilchensfähr Manor on the Aa, Riga Castle, position on the Narajiwka, Stasiowa Wola (inhabitants), Konjuschky, Kowel, division members, Austrian motorized mortar, naval gun behind the Turkish front, Turkish soldiers and music band, MG course in Döberitz. - Partly slightly silvered or faded, occasionally a little stained or rubbed, overall good condition.
