Helmstedt, Henning Müller/Georg-Wolfgang Hamm, 1665 and 1687. With woodcut title vignettes. (I) 7 vols., 164 p., 10 vols. (II) 8 pp., 112 pp. 8°. Central binding on 4 bands with gilt stamped title, gilt back and three-sided speckled edges (somewhat rubbed and bumped, front hinge with tears). VD17 23:234918E. - VD17 23:235995P. - The scholars Conring and Meibom both taught poetry, history, natural philosophy, medicine and politics as professors at the University of Helmstedt for many years. The University of Helmstedt existed from 1576 to 1810. - Front inner hinge slightly cracked, browned due to paper, some parts somewhat stronger, a few pages with larger dampstain. Overall a well-preserved copy of these rare publications. Collection of 2 works in 1 vol. With woodcut title vignettes. Leather of the time on 4 bands with gilt spine title, and speckled edges (slightly rubbed and bumped, the front joint with tears). - The scholars Conring and Meibom both taught as professors at the University of Helmstedt for many years. The University of Helmstedt existed from 1576 to 1810. - Front inner joint slightly cracked, paper browned, partly getting a bit stronger, few pp. with larger moisture stain.
