R title VD16 ZV 15529. Adams only with later editions. - Jacobus Ceporinus (born J. Wiesendanger, 1500-1525) studied in Cologne and Vienna. Thanks to his excellent knowledge of Greek and Hebrew, he was appointed to a chair in Zurich in 1522, but died shortly afterwards. His short Greek grammar, which he revised twice, went through several editions. - Last leaf with printer's mark missing. Some browning, slightly stained and waterstained. First and last leaf with handwritten inscription. Well preserved. Cont. vellum with Spanish edges and later manuscript spine title. - Last leaf with the printer's mark missing.
