Gandhi wanted India's independence, not from the British, but from prejudice, social inequality, discrimination and so on. His goal was freedom for all through Love and Truth.He saw villages where life was not based on a traditional pyramid scheme, but centered on the individual willing to give his life for his village. The basis of society would be equality for all, renunciation of luxury and a life of humility and simplicity. Beautiful signed twice and dated card with printed photograph (a fine newspaper clipping) applied to cardboard. Dated New Dehli, 24.06.1947 to Paul Langer.
