Naval officer's flintlock pistol, type 1779, "à tête de chien de mer", octagonal then round barrel, signed on the upper side: "DESAGA", 13 mm caliber; round-bodied lock signed: "À TULLE", espaletted hammer, iron basinet; iron fittings; walnut stock with short shaft, carved with a dogfish head; iron ramrod; length 24.5 cm.
