Important gold and silver brooch simulating a delicately knotted passementerie adorned with ninety-three main round old-cut diamonds calibrated and shouldered with roses.
The diamond-set tassels are screwed to both ends of the rope, and hang in a "négligé" style.
The yellow gold clasp is screwed to the back of the brooch.
Second half of the 19th century.
