85/ Fine pair of Italian cavalry officer's flintlock pistols.
Round barrels, banded on top, chased and engraved with thunderbolts of arms trophies and a man's profile, signed "P.MORETTA".
Chenapan-style turntables and round-bodied dogs, richly chased with foliage scrolls, profiles and figures.
Iron triggers, bridges, counterplates and caps richly chased with foliate scrolls, divinities and figures.
Iron belt hooks.
Carved walnut crossbars (minor wear).
Length: 43 cm.
A.B.E. Early 18th century.
