Bronze Age sword.
Handle decorated with numerous spiral motifs and attached to the blade by two rivets at the ends of the convex, slightly spaced guard limbs, spindle with beads, disk-shaped pommel topped by a cylindrical knob.
Slightly pistilliform blade.
Around 12th century B.C.
Length : 60.5 cm
Good condition, but with a patina reconditioned at a very late date.
Remarks :
-A rare example due to the profusion of spiral motifs adorning almost the entire hilt.
-Typical of swords found in France and Bavaria.
-Similar model preserved in the collections of the Krusevac National Museum in Serbia.
