Navaja folding knife, iron handle with brass and horn plates decorated with scrolls and a mandarin and inlaid with a silver escutcheon, iron blade marked BEAUVOIR. South of France, 19th century. Beauvoir: cutler in Provence, maker of navajas late 18th-early 19th century. Length (unfolded): 43 cm. Good condition. Experts: Virginie LASALA and Jean-Julien DELAUTRE
