Enamel sign Ardex the fire extinguisher, around 1930
Domed enamel sign, enameling stenciled and overprinted. Very nice gloss and color, surface with scratches. Marked: Pyro-Enamel - Boos & Hahn, Ortenberg-Baden. The Barclay-Vesey Building in New York, which was built between 1923-1927, is depicted alongside a box car and an airplane. No restorations or other embellishments, condition: 2-, dimensions approx.: 39.5 cm x 59 cm. Extremely rare, one of two examples known to us.
