An Amlash bronze statuette of the king of the animals represented standing and holding the collars of two animals (probably hounds); the human figure is made frontally with pectoral armour or large necklace; globular eyes and a high tiara. The animals are depicted stationary but in an attack position with their necks high and mouths open. Size: 60mm x 45mm; Weight: 90g Provenance: Property of an Oxfordshire art professional; previously in an old British collection, formed in the 1980s on the UK / International art markets.
