Gabriel Paul SÈRE (1923-1992) for the Manufacture nationale de SÈVRES, 1951 Spectacular PAIR OF PORCELAIN VASES, decorated with medieval knights. Manufacture nationale mark below and handwritten Sère 34.51. H.45 cm The archives of the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres hold three drawings, dated 1951, which served as models for the creation of these vases (inventory number E.1953.77). Gabriel Sère joined the Manufacture as an apprentice decorator in December 1945, then worked as a contract decorator from May 1, 1949 to March 11, 1955.
