SUZURIBAKO in red tsuishu lacquered wood, entirely carved in relief on the lid and the four sides; the lid decorated with a pavilion on the water, animated by two scholars, in a lakeside landscape bordered by mountains and planted with trees; the sides decorated with flowers and chrysanthemum leaves; the inside of the box lacquered black and presenting the ink stone and the mizuhire decorated with a cherry blossom.
