TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER
in Satsuma stoneware, with a poly-lobed body flaring towards the base, the wall decorated with two pheasants in a garden among irises, peonies and prunus in bloom, enhanced by two elephant-head handles. The openwork lid is topped by a chrysanthemum-shaped handle. Genzan mark on the base.
(Lacks of gilding).
