Manila shawl (Philippines). This type of shawl was manufactured in China. They arrived in Spain by ship from Manila, hence its name. Short shawl made of natural silk, laso thread and embroidered in bone color. Decorated with flowers and vegetal motifs. Macramé fringe in the same color. The original frill on the back, like a cape, with bangs and decoration to match the rest of the shawl, gives originality to this piece. Its shape is reminiscent of a bullfighting cape. Good preservation. A small antique stain does not affect the whole. Measurements: 67 x 133 cm (measurements without bangs). Fall of the fringe 34 cm.
