A Hellenistic 22 ct gold ring with a carnelian intaglio depicting Marsyas playing an aulos. The figure is realised in natural manner with extremely fine details of the body. The ring boasts a wide flat sectioned hoop and expanding shoulders with a trumpet-shaped bezel.
