PARIS 1642 - 1643
Chalice and paten in gilded, repoussé, cast and chased silver. The circular foot is edged with a leafy frieze of acanthus leaves, underlined by a line of seeds. It is chased with the veil of Veronica, the ladder and column, and the cross, sponge and sword in a leafy frame. On the foot are three chased cherubs' heads, echoing the ovoid knot and the false cup, in a frame of two gadroon flanges underlined by two smaller flanges. The reverse of the paten features the Resurrection molded with pearls.

Hallmarks on the chalice: master goldsmith (incomplete, illegible) and jurande on the reverse and on the bowl - no hallmark on the paten.
