FRANCE LATE 18th CENTURY
Small silver baluster vase containing a bouquet of carnations and unscrewable flower stems. The square base rests on four feet extended by a pedestal edged with ribboned fillets. The vase is embellished with garlands of flowers and gadroons at the base. It is accompanied by two handles with leafy scrolls.
Weight: 99 g - height: 19.5 cm
Marked: a single mark appears on the base, showing an A surmounted by a closed crown.
Condition: one garland element missing, one element to be reattached to the handle.
Provenance: probably Prix à l'œillet in silver from the Jeux Floraux de Toulouse
