ENGLAND SECOND HALF OF THE 18th CENTURY
Gilded brass lorgnette case embellished with shagreen and three gilded flower motifs in the vertical direction, terminating in a bow. Two movable pins serve as lorgnette holes. Inside the case are: a pair of scissors, a silver ear-pick toothpick, metal nail file tweezers, a folding pocketknife with gold-plated tortoiseshell handle, a pencil with brass tip and a double ball table (one ivory plate missing - one part attached).
Length: 10.5 cm
Condition: one element missing from the case and a knot in the outer decoration, cracks on the tortoiseshell handle of the folding knife - good condition of the shagreen.
