A cased pair of flintlock pistols, Liège, circa 1850
Octagonal barrels of spiral Damascus with eight-groove rifled bores in 12 mm caliber. ELG acceptance marks stamped on the sides next to the chambers. Locks with engraved vine decoration. Walnut half stocks with fluted butts and engraved iron furniture. Ramrods missing. Length 32.5 cm each. In a matching wooden case covered with waxed green cloth with two brass locking hooks. The interior lined with suede, the lid covered with cream-colored silk. Accessories consisting of a loading hammer, powder measure, screwdriver and bullet pliers. A brass box with primer in one of the compartments. Dimensions 6 x 41.5 x 25 cm.
