An M 1854 carbine of the imperial navy from the Pola navy arsenal, 1860 Rifled barrel in 13.9 mm caliber, bore rough and in need of cleaning, on top front sight, bayonet lug and bow sight, scaled from 400 to 1000 paces, behind it arsenal mark of Pola and a double-headed eagle stamp as well as illegible maker's inscription. Percussion lock, on the lock plate a double-headed eagle and the year "(1)860". Full stock with iron furniture. Iron parts patinated and spotted in places, stock bumped and with small stress cracks in the area of the stock nose and the side of the lock, the latter with vice marks. Length 110 cm. Condition: II -
