A Clement-Neumann semi-auto rifle Cal. .401WinSL, SN. 720, almost bright bore, length 60 cm. Barrel rib and top of receiver with engine-turned pattern, proof mark and ELG stamp on left side of barrel root. Original, somewhat worn finish. Walnut stock with French pistol grip and chequering, sling swivel, iron butt cap. Length 109 cm. Early self-loading rifle with mass action, similar to Winchester Mod. 1910. Less than 1000 examples were made in Belgium, but could not establish themselves on the market.
