A German guild seal from the town of Ochsenhausen, circa 1700
Large, elaborately cut brass matrix. In the center the coat of arms of the Benedictine Abbey of Ochsenhausen surrounded by eight guild symbols. The edge inscription reads: "S VEREINIGTER H WERCKHER IN M OCHSENHAUSEN". Long (stained) iron handle with a strong, flattened pommel. Height 12 cm, diameter 46 mm.
