Victorian choker set with diamonds from the estate of Vere Monckton-Arundell, Viscountess Galway England, circa 1880. 8 k rose gold. Medallion with crowned monogram over braided hair strand, opulently set with diamond roses. Inscription on the reverse "Vere Gosling Born 1859 (/) married July 24th 1879 (/) to Viscount Galway". Weight approx. 12.06 g. Vere Monckton-Arundell, Viscountess Galway (1859 - 1921), née Gosling, was a British poet, writer, philanthropist and literary figure. Choker, pendant set with diamonds, in 8 k red gold. Inscribed on the reverse.
