Rare and antique 18K (750/1000) yellow gold ring set with five falling green stones in a closed pearl setting, the setting decorated with grainetti. Work of the 19th century. TDD: 57 Gross weight: 1.3g A testimony to a bygone era, it's a minor miracle that this ring has survived the centuries. This type of ring was worn in the 19th century for accumulation, as evidenced by the painting of Madame de Senonnes by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (1780-1867).
