Peter Evershed (1925 Brighton - 2020 Milton Keynes) "Ernest M. Hemingway". Original title Triple portrait of the important American writer Ernest M. Hemingway (1899 - 1961), based on pencil studies from a sketchbook from the 1950s. Evershed, who went to the USA in 1947 and only returned to England at the end of the 1950s, created a large number of portraits of famous contemporary personalities during this decade.
