Moulding workshop of the Musée du Louvre (1794-1882) Sosibios Vase Plaster H. 75 cm W. 43 cm D. 39 cm Based on the original work in the Musée du Louvre (Paris), dating from the first century B.C., whose mythological frieze reveals Artemis and Hermes, among other figures. Its name refers to the Athenian sculptor who made it, although the vase was probably discovered in Italy.
