Based on the original marble work in the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon. This sculpture was nicknamed "Virgin of the Baker" because it once adorned the nearby bakery of the Abbey of Saint-Antoine-des-Champs in Paris, for which it was undoubtedly originally designed.
