Breakfast, blue light Oil on canvas Signed lower right 73 x 92.5 cm Provenance Private collection, France Pupil and later companion of Paul Signac, she was a French neo-impressionist painter who used the pointillist technique. Still lifes and landscapes were her favorite subjects. Her touch is defined by vivid strokes and intense, accentuated light. Her compositions are harmonious, particularly in her choice of oils, with their rare, delicate colors.
