Table clock in gilded and burnished bronze, France, Charles chest simulating a rock, surmounted by a trophy-shaped frieze of musical instruments and flanked by a wolf; in the center there is a circular dial with two winding holes and Roman numeral time indication, a rectangular base embellished with an arch-shaped front frieze on which a garland and a fluttering ribbon are ideally wrapped; chiselled bracket feet. French eight-day movement, movement with striking at the hour and half-hour mark, lever escapement and silk thread suspension. One hand missing.
