Blackened brass and iron shell, cockerel plate with motto "RETOUR A LA LIBERTE JUILLET 1830" and "Srs POMPIERS DE LA CROIX ROUSSE" at bottom of plate, short gadrooned crest with grenade on front, leather-lined flat scale chinstraps (slightly missing), leather and fabric cap (missing).
