Magnificent Meissen coffee dejeuner with Saxon city views and landscapes 7-piece set; coffee pot, sugar bowl, creamer, 2 cups with saucers, bell and tray. So called. Saxony form. Partly sculptural flower pommels and rocaille decoration in relief. Cobalt blue ground with quatrefoil reserves surrounded by gold tendrils, depicting various cityscapes and landscapes of Saxon Switzerland as well as flower bouquets on a white ground. The coffee pot with a view of Meissen with Albrechtsburg Castle. The tray and the bell with a view of Dresden across the right bank of the Elbe to the Augustus Bridge and the Royal Palace, the so-called "Canaletto view". Further views show Rathen with a view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the "Bastei" viewing platform as well as the large Winterberg. Fine, polychrome painting.
