Sign. Gallé with star. Part-gilt, finely chased and chased silver mount in the shape of a hydrangea stem by Lagriffoul & Laval, Paris (founded 1899); marked; French guarantee stamp (minerva head) for 950 silver, maker's mark "L & L".
