Rare, classicist silver sauce boat. Deeply moulded, ovoid bowl over four flared, stylized hoof feet with leaf base. The short sides shaped into low-set and tapering spouts. The rim surrounded by a sculpted beaded band. The long sides with S-shaped, two-part band handles with applied leaf-shaped trim, correspondingly surrounded by a beaded rim. Gilt interior. Marked 12 plumb, tremolier mark, hallmark, master Johann Friedrich Langelüddecke (became master ca. 1787). Weight approx. 310 g. H. 7.5 cm. 19 cm x 14.5 cm.
