Lidded goblet for Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm
Discolored glass with low and high cut and cut. Plate base with high-cut leaf wreath, solid shaft with three nodes, conical bowl. Vacant oval medallion surrounded by the finely cut chain of the Order of the Black Eagle, flanked by wild men holding banners with the ligature monogram FWCP. Verso a crowned cartouche with trophies around a laurel wreath with the Prussian eagle. Sick to the glass, chips to the rim. Matching lid, but not matching. With lid h 45.1, without lid h 28.3 cm.
Potsdam glassworks, 1701 - 1713.
The vacant reserve was intended for the mounting of a glass paste medallion with a profile portrait of the king.
