Jean Schuler (St. Ingbert 1912 - 1984 Paris), "Apothéose du peintre B(ernard) B(uffet)" (Apotheosis of the painter B. B.), 1958, color silkscreen on brownish paper, signed, dated, titled, inscribed as serigraph and numbered "1/8" in ballpoint pen in lower margin, 42 x 57.5 cm (paper size: 48 x 63 cm), very rare, slightly light-stained, under glass in white wooden frame, overall size: 49 x 64 cm. Limit 100,- >> Studied in Munich under Karl Caspar, among others, followed by a stay in Berlin, contact with Nolde, moved to Paris in 1949, member of Parisian artists' associations, numerous exhibitions in France and Germany.
