A VICTORIAN AESTHETIC SILVER DISH
by Goldsmiths' Alliance Ltd, London 1886, the basket formed as a lotus leaf with a bamboo-form handle clad with stylised foliage, engraved in the Japanese taste with cranes amidst bamboo and plant life, raised on a stepped oval foot. 26.5cm long, 14.5cm wide, 14.6 troy ounces
The maker's mark is a little rubbed but legible. The other marks are clear. There are no splits or dents. Generally in good condition commensurate with age.
