A VICTORIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL DESK CARRIAGE CLOCK
by
Henry Stuart Brown, London 1897, upright rectangular form with a swing carrying handle on shallow bead-edged bun feet, the top and sides with translucent green guilloché enamelled panels with a rayed design, with a white enamel Roman numeral dial to the front, a hinge door to the back, the movement with an integral winding key. 10.5cm high (excl. handle)
The marks are clear. The clock winds and appears to be running correctly but not monitored for a given length of time, so it is, therefore, unwarranted. The enamel dial is in good condition. The side panels are in good condition. The handle works well and holds the position. One small dint to the silver framework. Generally, good condition.
